Plans for the Family Clinic and 50 Bed Hospital
We have in the neighborhood of our church 9 acres of land with 5 incomplete structures on sell. We were approached to purchase this property by the owner who is a Moslem and the place is just near our church structure. Our highest priority of the use of the land and property for the community is a Clinic. 50 bed Hospital, because the closet medical facility is 6 miles away. If a pregnant Woman does not have a Midwife in the village, when she is ready to deliver and has complications, they can lose the baby, or the mother may die or both may die. We would have a clinic and hospital with Midwives and Doctor’s at this facility.
We also want to establish a school to offer vocational skills to single mothers, school dropouts who have lost hope. We will offer them another chance through acquiring tailoring skills, computer skills, tarting, and hands on life skills that can generate them income to take care of themselves and their families.
There will also be a pastors and elders training center. One of the major challenges with our community is false preachers and Churches because pastors haven't been taught. These can be eliminated when the right doctrine is taught and pastors are trained to rightly divide the word of God in truth. Training pastors in Fort portal, Kyenjojo, Bunyangabu, Kasese, Bundibugyo, Kyegegwa, and Kamwenge districts, with the aim of spreading the gospel. With over 3 billion individuals still unaware of God's love (as referenced in John 3:16), this initiative is of paramount importance. We will also have Sunday school classes on the same.
If God makes a way and provides for this property, we can have all these projects running to expand the kingdom of God.
This 9-acre property with the incomplete structures is sold at $700,000 (seven hundred thousand US Dollars).
